Color Crazy!

I hope...

So much to look forward to...

New music to discover, new belly buttons to get to know, new facial features to unfold, new bellies to feel, the opportunity to find newness in common things, through touch and taste...and feel...wow, so exciting...it seems so real...well, I guess it is!

Pregnancy

Is it possible that a baby on the forefront can actually resolve and make easier any feelings of fear. The overwhelming urge you get to care for someone else actually taking away the fear the come along with all those things you are so accustomed to stressing out over. I am anxious for the next few months to hurry along. I know during this time that a lot must be accomplished, we need to get more ducks in a row--but I am no longer afraid of that process, just understand its necessity and my responsibilities.

What I know so far about being pregnant...

It is different for every person, but no one can make you feel better about the process than someone who has experienced it themselves. That dreaming becomes commonplace and the subjects seem so real it is as if a lesson is being gifted to you in your sleep. That waking up after ten hours of sleep does not mean the headache will have lessened or that you will be any less tired in two hours. That what you are hungry for must make itself available very soon after the hunger approaches or the person responsible will see a less than pleasant side of you. That prenatal vitamins give you stronger longer finger nails but are very difficult to swallow. Finally--that all resemblance of your former mannerisms are on hold while your body is readjusting, anything that happens during this time is to be an exception and that the person who is "with child" is not to be help responsible...lol.

Ah...so sleepy.

OK...non-gender biased post...finally!

same site.

More Girl stuff!

These are from the same site as the overalls. It tends to be very pricey but a luxury onesie here or there couldn't hurt...oh, so great!!! I should probably find out what I'm having.

Too cool!

Makes you wish you were still toddling about in overalls, eh?!

Thanks Amy!

New incredible finds...courtesy of Amy. However female biased they may be--until we know the sex of the potato it is hard to not ogle over baby girl things...wahoo...check out the cuteness. These ruffly tops are 100% organic cotton--yay! I've also found that baby stuff is best found through other people's amazing blogs. I am not the champion blogger. I know I am generally uninteresting due to general posting laziness, and am anchoring this blog in the fact that eventually a cool new little person will take it over and give viewers a reason to clock in...lol. The baby sack is a dutch item!

One Love!

OK, I'm back on the baby beat. I did a little internet browsing and found a sweet little site that a Mother/artist has. She has wonderful prints, tons of cute little things to find like custom painted knobs and pulls, and these adorable bibs...I believe they're reversible, which is great for the life of a bib--which gets spilled on regularly!

more stuff I love. This baby room is the closest thing to what I want to do, although its a bit boxy and square for my taste. I love texture, pattern, and softness. A little more green and a little less blue!

cool new finds!

sorry, no links today. I'm nauseous and feeling lazy!

Zebra's! Wahoo

Another animal outfit...but sooooo cute! I found this about a week ago...now I'm just getting baby clothes crazy!

sweet amimal finds...

so sweet...we like birds...even little owls. We'll probably have lots of birds in this babies life. From the same site, I'm completely in love with this lion outfit. Anything that is cotton, one-piece , and has some chill picture of an animal on it...I'm in love.

I know I should write more about how I'm feeling...hormonal, hungry, tired, grumpy...the fact is, I don't want to focus on it. It all seems so surreal and all the baby stuff gives me some excitement, focus, and the idea of a baby to look forward to.

I have the best boyfriend in the world. He is going to be a great Daddy. He is dealing with my mood swings by feeding me and looking at all the cute baby stuff I am throwing at him every few minutes...I think he is about baby-stuffed out for now! Until tomorrow...~L

This adorable organic cotton hoodie is a long way off, but I think it is wonderful...and that kid is pretty cute too! This may be right in Laura's realm for now. The rest of the site is pretty fantastic. I love their striped onsies...anything organic gets my attention!

We're so excited!!!

B A B Y

PiE

more stuff...I'm going stuff crazy

I love this bassinet, it is very expensive but I can't help but drool over it's cool print and funky simplicity. The clogs are darling and they have many colors that I just can't choose between, I'm pretty fond of the green and gray ones too...but the brown are just tasty. The baby towels I can't seem to find where I got them...this link thing is tricky to keep up with. They were on a site that had really funky 50 style cribs that cost in the $2000 range...I have to stop teasing myself.

Stylish BABy!

So...I am only four weeks into this new gig...future Mom...currently fetus protector, and I am obsessed with the design world of all things baby. Here are some cool finds from this evening. Some I desire enough to try and save for, plan for, and pine for...and others I have accepted that I will probably not get them this time around.

I found these cool mobiles here and here. I fully plan on the bird mobile. We found a similar one at Blue Heron in downtown Lawrence, so we'll have to start comparing prices.

We found cool strollers downtown at the Blue Dandelion (Lawrence). We've decided it is one thing we will spend a little extra money on. After searching we found similar finds here. The first we love...the second is more in our price range.

Next a couple high chairs too rockin' to not love!!! We are generally fond of simple wooden high chairs, finding the big plastic deals--well, big and plasticky, the following can be found here.

Ok, ok...I have one more for the night...Many Many Many more bookmarked, so I'm sure you'll see more in the coming weeks! Signing out for the night, you'll find this wonderful onsie here.
